Faye has significant experience in public speaking on a wide variety of topics and across multiple forums in both the in person and online spaces, including political conferences, disability events (e.g. The Island of Ireland Conference to End Seclusion and Restraint for PWD), awards ceremonies, education events, service provision rallies.
Faye is research professional, having completed a research based Masters degree in Social Justice and Public Policy in 2022. She currently lectures in Advocacy and in Autism Studies at University College Cork, and her key areas of research and research participation to date have included:

Faye’s research has contributed to the drafting of political policy and debate at national level.
Faye has multiple ongoing research interests, particularly in the areas of Youth. Her current research focus is on understanding the role of demand avoidance within Neurodiversity and mental health challenges, and the impact of popular culture on participatory democracy, particularly amongst young people.
