At CAIM Empowers we take safeguarding very seriously. All of our staff, facilitators and volunteers must complete Tusla’s certified Child Protection training and our Designated Liaison Person fully understands child protection responsibilities as laid down in the Children First Act 2015 and has completed Tusla training for DLPs. 

Additionally we ensure all of our staff, facilitators and volunteers have completed Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults training and CAIM Empowers are signed up to the Safeguarding Ireland Charter. Regularly updating ourselves with best practice in Safeguarding and consistently assessing our own practice for maximum safety. 

All of our staff, facilitators and volunteers are Garda Vetted before they work with children or vulnerable adults and re-vetted as required. 

At CAIM Empowers we also believe that safeguarding your personal information and data is of vital importance and this is facilitated by our robust GDPR policy and practice. 

CAIM Empowers Policies relating to Child Protection, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, and GDPR are available on request prior to any contract agreement being entered into and we are committed to meeting specific / bespoke partner requirements in this regard.
